He worked for a local produce company for about ____ years. In 1983
Hugo Acosta, along with his uncle Delio Medina, opened a small produce
company in the Miami market. He worked day and night, hands on to
become known in the Miami area. As AFP grew, Hugo bought more buildings
and continued his expansion. The company continued its rapid growth
due to hard work, excellent quality, fair pricing and unwavering integrity.
We grew from 10,000 square feet to our present location with over
300,000 square feet of building on 32 acres. Hugo Acosta's untiring
work, day and night paid off. Passionate, dedicated, loyal, character
and the customer first best describes Hugo Acosta; his knowledge of
produce in unmatched. Quality above all is first, service, must be
a priority and fair pricing for our superior quality to our customers
in Hugo's philosophy. This philosophy has spread throughout our organization
as we have continued to grow. Hugo Acosta's passion and dedication
and unwavering integrity are what we are all about and there is no
compromise. Hugo' vision has set the stage for AFP's success and future.
Michael Acosta, Hugo's younger son has taken over as President of
Operations and David Acosta, his older son has assumed the responsibility
of President of Administration and Operational Procedures. The Acosta
family works hand in hand, day and night together to continue the
growth and vision that the founder strived to create. Together with
our owners, founders and executive management we have created the
most successful independent produce wholesaler in the southeast United
States. The integrity, dedication and passion will continue for generations
to come. Hugo's vision and the family bond will only lead to a bigger
and better company in the future. The Acosta family, together with
uncle Marshall wants to thank each and everyone for your loyalty and
business. Let's continue to partner and grow together. No one in the
industry takes their customer's success more seriously. |
